It all began after a policeman shot and killed a soldier following an argument along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Two soldiers who lodged at a hotel in Rumukpakani were said to have gone in search of food in the community, Cable reports. One of the soldiers had a gun and residents alerted the police to a man carrying a gun in the neighborhood. The soldiers were on mufti at the time, so the policemen had no idea who they were.
